Answer: B) 9.6 inches

Explanation:

We will set up a proportion to solve. I will have the width of the model (in inches) as my numerator, and the height of the model (in inches) as the denominator.

-> To convert feet into inches, we multiply by 12.

\displaystyle (120)/(144) = (8)/(x)

Cross multiply:

120 * x = 144 * 8

120x = 1,152

Divide both sides of the equation by 120:

x = 9.6

9.6 inches

The height should be B) 9.6 inches.
