This problem is formatted quited weirdley, but Im giving my best hand forward to solve it.

We are given 2 rectangular fingures, and we need to figure out the total area Tara requires for her project.

When approaching these problems I preferably like to form equations.

Area of Rectangle 1 + Area of Rectangle 2 = Total Area

Now we plug in the values

(15x12) + (10x10) = T

180 + 100 = T
280 = T
