3x + 2y = -2

3 y = 2 x + 12

y = ( 2 /3 ) y + 12

Slope of this line is m = 2/ 3

Slope of Line A m a = 2

Slope of Line B m b = 2/ 3

Slope of Line C m c = − ( 2 /3 )

Slope of Line D m d = − ( 3 /2 )

since m d = − 1 /m , D is perpendicular to the given line
