The water moccasin is a venomous snake found in the southern part of Georgia. Several other nonvenomous water snakes are often mistaken for being a water moccasin. What benefit would a nonvenomous snake have by looking like a venomous snake?

Answer: They would be using mimicry to make themself seem dangerous to scare off predators. :)
