An inverse operation is writing the opposite sign to another sign

Inverse operations are an operation that undoes each other. For example, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, squares and square roots.

For example, we have the equation:

2 + 2 = 4

The inverse of this equation is:

4 - 2 = 2
