Answer:

2 gallons

Explanation:

she painted 3/4 of the room already and that took 6/4 to do if you do improper fraction and a common denominator. so it is taking her double the numerator so to paint 4/4 of the room or 1 whole room it would take 2 gallons. I hope this makes sense.

She will need 2 gallons for the whole room, 1/2 gallon for the remaining 1/4 of the room.
