Sample 1: Median: 79
Explanation: Order the numbers from least to greatest, and then find the middle number. Ex. The median for the set of numbers: 2,6,8,10,15, would be 8 because it’s in the middle.
Sample 2: Median: 86
Explanation: Do the same thing you did for sample 1.
Tip: If there is an even amount of numbers, you find the mean of the TWO middle numbers. To find the mean, you add the numbers together and divide it by the number of numbers. Ex. The mean of 2 and 2 would be 2, because 2+2=4, and 4÷2=2, therefore the mean of 2 and 2 is 2.
