In this modern day and age, technology is a monumental part of almost everyone's daily life. Though experts suggest a maximum of 2 hours a day for screen time, I almost always exceed that limit by a lot, sometimes spending almost 14 hours a day staring a screen (whether it be a computer or a phone). This sedentary lifestyle is strenuous for the body, as sitting all day can lead to muscle cramps (and even possibly atrophy) and bad posture. Not going outside can lead to deficiencies in Vitamins, and always breathing in recycled air can lead to many severe health issues. This all weakens my body's defenses against infectious diseases.
One positive health habit that I have is making sure that no matter the circumstances, I eat breakfast. Eating breakfast has a plethora of benefits which include, but are not limited to better memory and concentration, lower risk of getting diabetes, heart diseases and helping digestion. In addition, eating a healthy breakfast can improve one's immune system, improving the ability of an individual to fight off pathogens and infectious diseases.
