Answer:

530.66
ft^2

Explanation:

Use the formula for the area of a circle:

A=\pi r^2

Insert the values:

A=3.14*13^2

Simplify exponents
(x^2=x*x):

A=3.14*169

Simplify multiplication:

A=530.66

The area of the circle is about
530.66
ft^2.

Answer:

530.66 square feet

Explanation:

The formula for the area of a circle is :
\pi*radius^(2)

The radius is also half of the diameter.

To work out the area you would simply multiply pi by the radius of 13 squared, this gives you 530.66 square feet. The radius is the length from the side of the circle to the centre.

This was calculated using 3.14 as pi.

1) Multiply pi by 13 squared.

\pi *13^(2)=530.66
