James was exposed to a pathogen when he was 10 years old and felt ill. What would most likely happen if he were exposed to the same pathogen when he is 12 years old? His body would destroy the pathogen before he felt symptoms. His reaction to the pathogen would be worse than the first. His antibodies would decrease, since he had been exposed already. New types of antibodies would be made in response to the second exposure.

Answer:

His body would destroy the pathogen before he felt symptoms.

Step-by-step explanation:

A pathogen can simply be define as a disease carrying agent that cause damage to its host in form of illness or disease. usually, pathogen cause harm to their house are their use any means necessary to survive in their host and sometimes develop immunity against its survival or try to develop immunity(mutate) to escape the body’s immune responses thereafter reproduce itself in the house body making the house immune system to be week and fall sick and even die in some cases. there are diffeent kind of pathogens and they have various ways they attack the body. children who have encountered and fallen ill due to some pathogenic infection are most times given vaccines or treatment so as to prevent its re-occurence. most times drugs are given ones or intervals to children to boast their immune system in fighting pathogenic disease and if variably their encounter it in a short or long while after the first occurrence, their body immune system will be able to fight the infection in the host body.

due to increase in the technology and advances in the field of medical science, different mechanism/method are use to help prevent against infection by pathogen by vaccination, antibiotics and fungicide to the pathogens that has being a torn in human's flesh.
