Why do some people consider the way the media cover candidates for public office bad for democracy?

A. People tend to vote for the candidates who they find most appealing, rather than the ones whose
beliefs are most like their own.
B. The media are for-profit businesses, unable to be fair or objective in the interest of the public.
C. Candidates already in office receive more media attention than those who are trying to take their
positions.
People always vote for the person the media determine is most qualified, rather than the candidate
who can bring about change.

Some people consider the way the media cover candidates for public office bad for democracy because the media is a form of propaganda. The information they give you is biased and it's one-sided.

Some people consider the media tendentious.Communication vehicles should inform voters impartially about the candidates, unless they decide to state their support clearly, which is not usually the case. Moreover, however unbiased it may be, choice of staff is a human choice. In this way, the guidelines are decided according to the criteria that journalists think are most important, which is debatable, since the importance of the subjects may be relative from person to person.
