Explanation:

Because we have the length and height of the rectangle part we can do that part first.. which is 6(10) which is 60. Then we find the area of the triangle. Because we have the height of it we just have to find the base. To find the base we would do 10-6 because on the top they are showing us 6 and on the bottom part they are showing us 10. 10-6=4. So now that we know the base and height of the triangle we find the area by using the formula A=1/2 (b) (h). which gives us a 8. 8+60=68.
