Why do the features on the moon remain unchanged?

Answer:i am not sure if i am correct but i think the answer is (because nothing has done anthing harmful or some thing that would dramatically change a feature of the moon.)

Step-by-step explanation:

lets say i leave a pen on the table and if no one touches my pen nothing will happen but lets say my sister uses my pen and loses the cap then a feature of my pen changes or maybe the pen runs out of ink then a feature has changed.

Because the moon has no water, wind, or weather. The craters remain unchanged
