Answer:

Vertex: (1,-1)

Symmetry: x = 1

Explanation:

y = 4x² - 8x + 3

y = 4(x² - 2x) + 3

y = 4[x² - 2(x)(1) + 1² - 1²] + 3

y = 4(x - 1)² - 1

In y = a(x - h)² + k,

(h,k) is the vertex

And a vertical line passing through the vertex is the line of symmetry, i.e x = h.

Vertex: (1,-1)

Symmetry: x = 1
