Answer:

50.24 square inches

Explanation:

shape of pizza is circular

area of circle is
\pi r^2 where r is the radius of circle

Diameter = 2* radius

=> radius = Diameter/2

hence we will use formula of circle to find area of pizza

Diameter of small pizza = 6 inch

Therefore, radius of small pizza = Diameter of small pizza/2 = 6/2 = 3 inches

area of small pizza = \pi r^2

area of small pizza =
\pi r^2\\=> \pi * 3^2 \ (numerical\ value \of \ pi \ is\ 3.14) \\ => 3.14 * 9 \\=> 28.26

________________________________________________________

Diameter of medium pizza = 10 inch

Therefore,

radius of medium pizza = Diameter of medium pizza/2 = 10/2 = 5 inches

area of medium pizza =
\pi r^2

\pi r^2\\=> \pi * 5^2 \ (numerical\ value \of \ pi \ is\ 3.14) \\ => 3.14 * 25 \\=> 78.50

________________________________________________________

Difference of area of small and medium pizza = area of medium pizza - area of small pizza = (78.50 - 28.26 ) square inches = 50.24 square inches

Medium pizza is 50.24 square inches greater than small pizza
