The price of an item has been reduced by 35%. The original price was $49. What is the New price?

To find 35%, we first find 10%.
10%= $4.90 so 5%= $2.45.
Then do 5% ($2.45) x 7= 35% = $17.15
49-17.15 = $31.85

$49=100%
$0.49=1%
$0.49x65=65%(100-35=65)
$31.85=65%
