There are 12 hours on a clock, so each hour mark is 360/12 = 30 degrees from its neighbors. At 7:00, the minute hand points at the 12, while the hour hand points at hour 7. So, the hands are 5 "hours" apart, which means that the angle between the hands is 5 * 30 = 150 degrees.

The answer is 30

WoSo at 7 PM, the hour hand is on 7 and the minute hand is on 12.

That is a gap of five hours.
The whole clock has twelve hours.

We know that a clock is a circle.
A circle has 360 degrees.
So, the 12 hours of a clock make 360 degrees.
Each hour is 360/12=30 degrees.
So, 5 hours makes 30*5=150 degrees.
