Answer:

The "Reality control" described in George Orwell´s novel "1984", refers to how the Party controls the residents of Oceania by combining surveillance, terror, and propaganda. They use torture, imprisonment, and vaporization to eliminate any possibility of people having thoughts that point to a possible future rebellion. They even constantly watch every citizen through the telescreens found in every room. There´s even a Thought Police.

Step-by-step explanation:

"Doublethink" is a fundamental element in that control, as people are forced to believe anything the Party says, even contradictory and false ideas. People even suppress any idea that contradicts the Party statements and becomes oblivious to their constant use of doublethink. For example, since Oceania is declared at war with Eurasia, people force themselves to believe that war was always in place, although Oceania and Eurasia used to be allies was. If they don´t, they could be accused of thoughtcrime.
