First lets convert 25g to kg

25g = 0.025kg

Using proportion,

Let x be the number of plant he can feed

0.025kg = 1 plant

5kg = x

cross-multiply

0.025×x=5×1

0.025x= 5

Divide both-side of the equation by 0.025

0.025x/0.025= 5/0.025

At the left-hand side of the equation 0.025 will cancel-out 0.025 leaving us with just x while at the right-hand side of the equation 5 will be divioded by 0.025

x=200 plants

Therefore, he can feed 200 plants
