-3/4

Explanation:

The way i reached this answer was by counting rise/run.

if you count from the point (4,-2) and the next point which is at (1,0) all you would have to do is make a triangle by following the lines. Then you would see that it goes 4 spaces to the left from (4,-2) and then 3 spaces up to reach (1,0). And you put 3 which is the rise (goes on top) and the run which is 4 (goes on the bottom). Also if the line is from top left to bottom right it makes your answer atomatically negative. And your final answer is -3/4.

We can find the slope by using 2 points

(0,1) and (4,-2)

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (-2 -1)/(4-0)

= -3/4
