y=mx+b (m represents the slope whuch is 2) We use the point (5,4) to plug into the equation

After using that equation, you get the y-intercept as -6. So, the equation is
y=2x-6

In the answer choices on C is the same as
y=2x-6 when simplified therefore, the answer is C.
