Two angles are complementary. The measure of the first angle is 7r + 5
and the measure of the second is 8r+ 9. Fin the measure of each angle.

Complementary angles add up to 90

7r + 5 + 8r + 9 = 90

15r + 14 = 90

15r = 76

r = 76/15

7r + 5 = 7(76/15) + 5 = 40 7/15

8r + 9 = 8(76/15) + 9 = 49 8/15
