An ethnic group is a group of people who share cultural ideas and beliefs. For example, an ethnic group would be the Arabs, the Arabs speak Arabic and live in West Asia and North Africa. A religious group is a group of people who practice the same religion. So, an example would be Catholic Christians, since they all practice Catholicism.
