Answer:

Q+D = 65, multiply both sides by 2525Q + 25D = 162525Q + 10D = 950 subtract to get 15D = 675 D = 675/15 = 135/3 = 45 dimes Q = 65-45 = 20 quarters25(20) + 10(45) = 500+450 = 950
