(b×h) ÷ 2

- b (base) = 7

base means the bottom length

- h (height) = 24

the height is not 25. when working out the area of triangles you need the perpendicular height (the height that meets at a right angle)

Now substitute the values:

(7 × 24) ÷ 2

168 ÷ 2 = 84

Area of triangle = 84 units²
