A triangle has sides with lengths of 6 miles, 14 miles, and 15 miles. Is it a right triangle?

the triangle is not right angled traingle

Explanation:

For a right angle triangle


a^(2) +
b^(2) =
c^(2) where a is the base , b is the height and c is the hypotenuse

taking a= 6 b = 14 and c = 15

hence
6^(2) +
14^(2) =
15^(2)

36+196 = 232 which is not equal to 225

therefore the triangle is not right angled traingle
