Patient privacy is an important part of the

healthcare system today. Why do you think that is
important? What could be the advantages and
disadvantages of using technology to save and
share patient information? What problems could
arise if a patient's private records are shared
inappropriately? Do you think individual
healthcare professionals should have
consequences for sharing patient information
inappropriately? If so, what should be the
consequences?

Yes, There should be consequences for breaking a patients privacy

If a patient of consenting age chooses to share something with a doctor their should be many laws in place protecting there information

One issue with having all of the information online is that people can steal or hack the information for their own use

I feel the medical industries need to put a better lock and have more laws on keeping patient information private

Depending on how servear the sharing of information is I feel there might be lossage of medical licenses
