C = 20 color ink

B = 40 black ink

Explanation:

Let B = number of black printer ink sold

Let C = number of color printer ink sold

B + C = 60

14.99*B + 22.99*C = 1059.40

B = 60 - C

14.99(60 - C) + 22.99*C = 1059.40

899.4 - 14.99C + 22.99C = 1059.4

899.4 - 8 C = 1059.4

8C = 1059.4 - 899.4

8C = 160

C = 20 color ink

B = 40 black ink
