It is a right angle triangle if it has one of it's angle to be equal to 90° and the side facing the angle will be the longest called the hypotenuse.

So if we gave triangle ABC

and <b = 90°

Then side AC = HYPOTENUSE

AB and BC are the opposite and adjacent
