r : C = 1 : 6.28

Formula's:

circumference of any circle: 2πr

radius: r

Their ratio:

radius : circumference

r : 2πr

r : 2(3.14)r

Answer:

  • 1 : 6.28

Explanation:

The circumference formula is

  • C = 2πr or
  • C = 2(3.14)r = 6.28r

The ratio of the radius to the circumference is

  • r/C = 1/6.28

or

  • r : C = 1 : 6.28
