Those are the order in which you should solve this. First you look for the P which are these "( )". There are none so you should look for the exponent. The 4^3 is you exponent. So 4 x 3 is 12. Next you look for the M which stands for "x". The 5 x 4 is what you what to look at. So 5 x 4 is 20. Next lo for the Division problem. That is 100 divided by 20 so that equals 5. Now do your addition. So that is 5 + 12 so that is 18. There is your answer.
