The cost of a square meter to cover a circular

pool is $2.50. How much would it cost to cover
the area of a pool that has a diameter of 25m?
Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. PLEASE HELP

Area of a circle = PI x r^2

r = radius, which is 1/2 the diameter.

Area of pool = 3.14 x 12.5^2 = 490.625 square meters.

Multiply area by cost per square meter:

2.50 x 490.625 = $1,226.56
