The problem is that his sculpture is so perfect that he falls in love with it and treats it like a real human being giving him the most beautiful gifts.

He asks the goddess Venus to give him a companion as perfect as his sculpture. Venus decides to help him and looks for a woman who meets the requirements of Pygmalion, however she does not find any woman as perfect as the sculpture and, moved by the situation of Pygmalion, decides to give life to his sculpture.
