Explanation:

So what you do is you multiply the PERPENDICULAR height by the base. And since the height is perpendicular, a 90 degree angle will form. And Right Triangles are half of parallelograms, you wou divide the answer of what you got with the b*h.

6.3*5.4=34.02

34.02/2=17.01

The area of the triangle is 17.01.

The area of a triangle is base x height divided by one half, or 2. The base is 5.4 of the ACTUAL triangle but the height is 6.3. Multiply these two and you get 17.01.
