Match each function with a key aspect of its graph.

1. h(x)=3(x-4)(x+5)
2. f(x)=-5(x+3)^2-4
3. g(x)=-4(x-3)^2+5
4. q(x)=5(x+4)(x-3)
5. p(x)=4(x-3)(x-5)
A. vertex at (3,5)
B. vertex at (-3,-4)
C. x-intercept of 5
D. x-intercept of 3
E. x-intercept of 4

Explanation:

1. h(x)=3(x-4)(x+5)

=> x-intercept of 4 when y = 0

2. f(x)=-5
(x+3)^(2) - 4

=> the vertex at (-3,-4) because the function is in vertex form

3. g(x)=-4
(x-3)^(2) + 5

=> the vertex at (3, 5) because the function is in vertex form

4.. q(x)=5(x+4)(x-3)

=> x-intercept of 3 when y = 0

5. p(x)=4(x-3)(x-5)

=> x-intercept of 5 when y = 0

Hope it will find you well.
