Divide Rs 120 between two students so that one gets 4 times as much as the other​

So first lets create an equation from the words where 4x is what one students has and x is what another has :

120 = 4x + x

Lets solve this now!

120 = 5x (divide by 5 on both sides)

24 = x (1st Student)

(Multiply by 4 on both side to get the second student)

96 =4x (2nd Student)
