Area of a semicircle=1/2of area of a circle.

therefore, 1/2*πr^2 or 1/2* 3.14r^2

=πr^2/2 or 3.14r^2/2

r=d/2=10/2=5units

Area=1/2*π*5^2.

Area=1/2*25π =12.5π or 12.5(3.14)units ^2
