How does the graph of g(x) = -5+2 compare to the graph of the parent function f(x) ==?

g(x) is shifted 5 units left and 2 units up from f(x).
g(x) is shifted 5 units right and 2 units up from f(x).
g(x) is shifted 5 units left and 2 units down from f(x).

Answer:

What ever the f(x) numbers are you just move -5 which is the x to the left. You move the +2 up from the y axis.

Explanation:

Lets say I have (7,3) in the graph.

You count -5 from 7 which will be 2.

Then you count +2 from 3 which will be 5

The new dot or equation will be (2,5)
