There are some dogs cats and rabbits in a pet farm the number of dogs is 3/5of the total number of cats and rabbits .

Let the number of cats in a farm be
x and the number of rabbits be
y. The total number of cats and rabbits would be be
x + y. As the number of dogs in the farm are
(3)/(5)^(th) the total number of cats and rabbits, so:

Number of dogs in the farm =
(3)/(5) (x + y)
