Answer:

32 cm

Explanation:

Let the length = L.

The width is 2L - 4.

perimeter = 2 * length + 2 * width

perimeter = 2 * L + 2 * (2L - 4)

perimeter = 2L + 4L - 8

perimeter = 6L - 8

perimeter = 100

6L - 8 = 100

6L = 108

L = 18

width = 2L - 4 = 2(18) - 4 = 36 - 4 = 32

Answer: The width is 32 cm.
