If you subtract then it would be 13/20. The decimal form if 0.65. There are no numbers we can divide by the top and bottom so it should be 13/20.

Hey there!

41/40 - 3/8

= 41/40 - 3 × 5 / 8 × 5

= 41/40 - 15/40

= 41 - 15 / 40 - 0

= 26 / 40

= 26 ÷ 2 / 40 ÷ 2

= 13 / 20

Therefore, your answer is: 13/20

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
