Intrinsic motivation is the act of doing something that does not have any obvious external rewards. Intrinsic motivation is the behavior which is driven by internal rewards. In intrinsic motivation, the motivation to engage in the behavior comes from within me because I find it naturally satisfying to me.

An example of intrinsic motivation I love is reading books. I do do because I enjoy reading and have keen interest in books and always willing to learn more. The motivation comes from within me. My goal is to always learn new things.
