Two​ trains, Train A and Train​ B weigh a total of 479 tons. Train A is heavier than Train B. The difference of their weights is 379 tons. What is the weight of each​ train?

Answer:

A= 429

B= 50

Step-by-step explanation:

A+B= 479 (take away)

A-B= 379

A-A+B+B= 479-379 (simplify)

2B= 100

I think you know how to do it now..

B=50

A=50+379 ---> 429
