How would you sketch out this question?? Jamie has a 15-foot aluminum ladder. She wants to place the ladder against the side of her house so she can change the light bulb in her solar-powered security lights that are 14 feet up the side of the house.

L=15\ ft

Height of light from floor
h=14\ ft

so Jamie should inclined the ladder at an angle of \theta with the floor

such that
\sin \theta =(h)/(l)


\Rightarrow \theta =\sin ^(-1)(h)/(l)


\Rightarrow \theta =\sin ^(-1)((14)/(15))


\Rightarrow \theta =68.96^(\circ)
