A marble is selected at random from a jar containing 50 red​ marbles, 40 yellow​ marbles, and 10 green marbles. Find the theoretical probability that it is either red or green. PLEASE HELP!!

Number of red marbles = 50

Yellow marble = 40

Green marble = 10

Total number of marble = 50+ 40 + 10 = 100

Probability of getting yellow marble =
(40)/(100)

= 0.4

Probability of getting green marble =
(10)/(100)

Probability of getting either red or green marble = 0.4 + 0.1 = 0.5

Hence, the required probability is equal to 0.5.
