Population density is defined ad the ratio of the total density to the area of the tank.

Total population = 18

Surface area of the tank =>2(LW+LH+WH)

Given length =>1ft

Width = 4ft

Height = 7ft

S = 2((1)(4)+4(7)+1(7))

S = 2(4+28+7)

S = 2(39)

S = 78ft²

Population density = 18/78

Population Density = 0.23(to nearest hundredth)
