The formula to find the area of a circle is (3.14)×radius^2

so if the diameter is twice the size of the radius to find the radius we divide D by 2, which would be

8/2 = 4 = radius

SO now we plug what we know into the are formula

(3.14)×4^2

(3.14)*16

(why 16 becasue 4 times 4 is 16)

Now it depends in what form they ask for the answer either pie terms or rounded.

IF IN PIE TERMS THE ANSWER IS

=16 PIE

IF ROUNDED THE ANSWER IS

=50.26548246

(rounded to whatever value they ask)
