Why would it be suprising to find a puppy alive amid all the distruction?

It would be surprising because because a puppy is just a young dog and at that age it would be very astonishing to see it sirvived in the big horrible distruction and it would be a relieving situation for the dog's owner. It would have broken some bones, but only a surgery would fix that!
