Renewable energy is energy from renewable resources [ sources that can naturally replenish at a constant rate ]. Examples of renewable energy sources include the sun, waves, rain, wind etc. These sources we will never run out of but at the same time they are not available at certain times.

Non renewable energy is energy from non renewable resources [ sources that we will eventually run out of ]. Examples of non renewable energy sources include fossil fuels like coal, gas, oil etc. We rely on these sources heavily as we can easily burn them for fuel however there is not an infinite source of fossil fuels so eventually we will run out of them. Not only that but burning these fules for energy also releases greenhouse gases which are bad for the environment.
