\bf\sf \underline{Given: - }

  • \text{Mass of pebble= 50g}

  • \text{Velocity of pebble= 20m/s}

\bf\sf \underline{To \: Find: - }

  • \text{Kinetic Energy of Pebble}

\bf\sf \underline{Solution: - }

We know that, to find the Kinetic energy we are required mass and velocity and Here Both parameters are provided But mass is in gram so we need change it into kg,

1g = 0.001kg,

⠀⠀⠀50g = 0.05g

Now we know the formula of Kinetic energy,

\sf \boxed{ \star\bf{\: Kinetic \: energy = (1)/(2) m {v}^(2)}} \\ \\ \qquad \qquad = (1)/( \cancel2) * 0.05 * \cancel{20}* 20 \\ \\ \qquad \qquad =0.05 * 200 \\ \\ \qquad \qquad \sf = 10J \:

Hence, the kinetic energy of the pebble is 10J.
